His talent was recognized early and by the age of 19 he became a professional lithographer.
Studied at the Educational Alliance, New York University, the College of the City of New York, and the National Academy of Design.
Pursued his art career full-time and in 1934 one of his photos was published in New Theatre magazine; in 1947 a collection of his works was displayed at New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
Appreciation for his work came from many individuals as well as religious, corporate and government sources.
