- Demonstrated his interest in art at an early age. Completed his first painting at age 14.
- Enrolled at Chapman College, majoring in art. Received his MA from California State University and did graduate coursework at UCLA.
- Received an assistant professorship at Cal State Northridge and continued his career as a professor of art at El Camino College.
- Considered a top-ranking American landscape painter, his art is included in many corporate and private collections including the San Francisco Museum of Art, the Oakland Museum of Art, Fluor Corporation, Neiman Marcus, AT&T, Price Waterhouse and many others.
