Darryl Hughto

Born in Watertown, New York, in 1943
He completed at Bachelor of Science at SUNY College at Buffalo as an Art Education Major; followed by a Master of Fine Arts at Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
His first exhibitions were in New York City during the 1970s, establishing him as an abstract painter
Works are in the permanent collections of many important museums and other public and private collections, including the Contemporary Art Museum, Houston; the Denver Museum of Fine Art; Solomon Guggenheim Museum, New York; Gardner Museum, Boston and many others
