Howard Kanovitz

- At the forefront of the art movement known as photorealism
- First one-man show was in New York City at the Stable Gallery in 1962
- He was invited to participate in documenta V, an international art exposition held in Germany in 1972, which highlighted the new photo-based painting genre.
- During his career his work was presented in more than 50 solo exhibitions, as well as over 100 group exhibitions in America and Europe.
