Joyce Kellock

  • Born in Lachine, Quebec, in 1926
  • Started painting at the age of eight, influenced by her father Alex McLaren, a famous Canadian artist and illustrator.
  • Studied at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and later at Concordia University in Montreal.
  • Her work includes watercolors and oils, landscapes, as well as some abstracts. Children appear as subjects in much of her work.
  • Represented in many public and private collections
