Born in Des Moines, Iowa, also lived in New York City and Colchester, Connecticut
Considered an abstract artist and colorist
Educated at the University of Oklahoma and Drake University
Awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation.
His work has been exhibited in many one-person and group shows.
