Leslie Parkes
- Born in Rochester, NY in 1925 and immigrated to Toronto, Canada, a year later. Died in Ontario in 2008.
- Following service in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he enrolled in college art courses.
- He began working for ESA Robinson Ltd., and eventually became art director of the company, retiring in 1986.
- Upon his retirement he began teaching Graphic Arts and Interior Design at Durham College of Arts and Technology.
- Inducted into the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolours in 1987. Retired from teaching in 1990 to devote all his time to painting.
