Mario Toral

Born in February 1934, in Santiago, Chile
Enrolled in the School of Fine Arts in Montevideo, Uruguay.
His first exhibition was shown at the Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art in 1955
He soon moved to France and studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris.
From the 1970s to the early 1990s, he lived in New York City where his work was well received.
In 1992 he became a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Finis Terrae University.
