Russel M. Noganosh
- A Canadian Indian First Nation Ojibway, born in 1956.
- He studied under Isaac Bignell who taught him the sponge technique of painting. Beyond that, the artist is self-taught.
- In 1984 he was honored as Artist of the Year by the Manitoba Bison Alumni Association, which produced a limited edition print of his Grazing Buffalo.
- In 1988 one of his prints was chosen for the cover of a book which was distributed to schools and libraries across Canada and was also sold in Japan. Other commissions and exhibitions followed.
