Cyril Cox
- Born in Toronto in 1958, he exhibited an appreciation for nature and wildlife at an early age.
- By the time he was 14 years old, his artistic talents were already being formulated.
- Basically self-taught, he studied graphic design and illustration briefly, before choosing to focus on painting on canvas.
- In 1989 he won the “Best of Show” honor at the National Canadian Chrysler Wildlife Competition. Numerous other awards soon followed.
- His paintings are characterized by his vibrant use of color, typically oil on canvas.
- Works are found in numerous private collections throughout the world.
